John Terry, Frank Lampard, Daniel Sturridge are still unavailable.
Chelsea Starting XI
David Luiz is unavailable due to suspension. He received his 5th yellow card of the season, in the league. As a result, he will have to serve a one match suspension. Cahill takes Luiz’ place in the starting eleven for Chelsea.
Cole, Ivanovic and Azpilicueta start in the back four.
Mikel is back in the squad in place of Romeu. Mikel was rested last game as part of squad rotation.
Mikel and Ramires start in the double pivot.
Mata starts today against West Ham. Benitez tried to rest Mata in the last game and had started Bertrand instead. However, a 0-0 deadlock meant Mata had to be brought in during the second half.
Moses starts in place of Oscar. Oscar has clearly been struggling in the last two games with fitness issues. This should be a welcome change for him. Oscar is on the substitutes bench.
Third band features, Hazard – Mata – Moses. Mata could play in the #10 role.
Torres, of course, starts as the striker with no other alternative available.
